    ARKA SURABHI

    At IIHR, a variety ‘Arka Surabhi’ is released which is a clonal selection from locally grown Jasminum grandiflorum. It yields 10 ton of flowers/ha and 0.35% concrete. Other varieties in this species include CO.1 and CO.2 pitchi released from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore.

    ARKA ARADHANA

    IIHR released variety ‘Arka Aradhana’ is a clonal selection of Jasminum sambac cv. Soojimalli. Flowers are double whorled with bold buds and yields 7.89 t / ha. The concrete yield is 0.188%.

    ARKA ARPAN

    IIHR released variety ‘Arka Arpan’ yields 6.19 t/ ha. Flowers are less fragrant and remain fresh for longer time. It blooms during December to February and flower buds are bold with pink tinge. Flower yield is comparatively lesser during summer. However, it yields all through the year.
