    ARKA AADYA

    It was developed through Individual Plant Selection from OP population of Line No.173. It is spreading type, floriferous, early flowering (66.44 days), high loose flower yield (178.56 g/plant), extended blooming period (16.11 days) and tolerance to lodging. The flower are pink coloured (RHS 62.A, Red Purple Group) and semi-double type. It is recommended for loose flowers (flower with short stalk) and for bedding purpose.

    ARKA ARCHANA

    It was developed through Individual Plant Selection from selfed population of Line No. 15. It is spreading type, floriferous, early flowering (69.40 days), high loose flower yield (222.62 g/plant), extended blooming period (18.44 days) and tolerance to lodging. The Flowers are white coloured (RHS NN155.C, white group) and semi-double type. It is recommended for loose flowers (flower with short stalk) and for bedding purpose.

    ARKA KAMINI

    It was derived by crossing two pure lines (AST 6 x AST 36) which was developed through pedigree method of breeding. This cultivar produces deep pink colour flowers that are more attractive than local pink cultivars. It takes 120-140 days to flower production and attains an height of 60 cm. It’s flowers are 5.5-6.5 cm in diameter and weigh 2 g each. Each plant produces about 40-50 flowers. It has vase life of 8 days.

    ARKA POORNIMA

    It is developed through advanced pedigree selection of the cross between AST 29 and AST 3. Flowers are pure white, powdery puff type and superior to the local cultivars. It takes 120-140 days to flower and grows to about 50-60 cm tall. Flower diameter is 5.5-6.5 cm. It has a stalk length of 25 cm and a vase life of 7 days. The plant produces 20-25 flowers with an individual flower weight 3.5 g.

    ARKA SHASHANK

    It was developed by crossing a local variety and a pure line (Local Pink x AST 2). Flowers are creamy white, powder puff type and more attractive than local cultivars. Plants are 60-80 cm tall. Flower diameter is 4.5-5.5 cm and weighs 2.5 g each. It bears about 45 flowers per plant with a stalk length of 25 cm and a vase life of 9 days.

    ARKA VIOLET CUSHION

    This variety was developed through pedigree selection from a cross between Local Pink x AST 2. Flowers are violet in colour and superior to local violet cultivars. It produces pompon type flowers having 4-5 rows of ray florets with tubular disc florets. The flower diameter varies from 5.0-5.5 cm and an individual flower weighs about 2.5g. It has a stalk length of 20 cm and a vase life of 8 days. It produces 35 to 50 flowers per plant.

    ARKA ADVIKA

    It is a mutant from cv. Arka Poornima and produces semi-double flower having short pseudo ray florets. Flowers are white in colour produces 36 numbers of flowers per plant with stalk lenght of 36 cm. It is suitable for cut flower, flower arrangement and bouquet making with vase life of 11 days.

    ARKA NIRALI

    It is a mutant from cv. Arka Violet Cushion and produces semi-double flower having short pseudo ray florets. Flowers are violet in colour produces 43 numbers of flowers per plant with stalk lenght of 42 cm. It is suitable for cut flower, flower arrangement and bouquet making with vase life of 11 days.

    ARKA SHUBHI

    Pedigree selection from Arka Kamini x Local White. Flowers are light pink in colour with a diameter of 5.04 cm. It produces 56 numbers of flowers per plant with stalk lenght of 47 cm. It is suitable for cut flower and flower arrangement with vase life of 10 days.
